Nigeria Electricity System Analysis
A data-driven analysis of Nigeria’s electricity system, using historical generation, energy mix, and emissions data from OWID datasets. The project combines Python, SQL and Power BI to evaluates fossil and renewable trends, carbon intensity, and alignment with long-term Nigeria Energy Transition objectives.

Nigeria’s Structural Energy Deficit
This project analyzes Nigeria’s primary energy consumption in comparison with peer emerging economies — Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, and South Africa — to uncover structural gaps in energy access, efficiency, and economic alignment.
Using a combination of Python, SQL (PostgreSQL) and Power BI, I built a multi-layered analytical model that moves beyond descriptive charts to answer a critical question:
Is Nigeria energy-efficient, or simply under-consuming energy relative to its economy?
